A Bug’s Life
Open to girls entering grades 1 – 6 June 13 – 16 Program Center, Fairfield $50 per girl
If you like being outdoors, then this camp is for you! We will have fun learning about nature and ecology by playing games, doing crafts and exploring the environment around us. This fun-filled 4 day camp will include an optional overnight to do some outdoor cooking and star gazing.
Me & My Fella
Open to girls entering grades 1 – 12 June 15 – 17 The Cove, Napa $50 per person
Show your dad (or other important adult male in your life 18 years or older), the Girl Scout way to camp and enjoy the natural beauty of the Cove. The two of you will enjoy a variety of adventures, fun and camaraderie. Hiking, preparing your meals and of course, singing around the campfire are all part of your rustic outdoor experience. Bring your own tent and count the nighttime stars or sleep in one of the Cove’s shelters (please note if you want a shelter on your registration form). Swimming available on Sunday.
Survivor: Nelson’s Grove 2007
Open to girls entering grades 4 – 12 June 29 – July 1 Nelson’s Grove, Woodland $50 per girl
Do you have what it takes to outsmart the outdoors? Action, adventure, and achievement await you! You will spend the weekend honing your outdoor skills by discovering how to get water from the sun and starting a fire without a match. Come explore these and many other exciting survival skills as we journey through the weekend together.
Angel Island Backpacking Experience
Open to girls entering grades 5 – 8 July 9 – 13 California Maritime Academy, Vallejo $125 per girl
Angel Island, San Francisco
Take hiking to the next level…join us for an introduction to the adventures of backpacking! No experience is needed. Learn the basics of backcountry travel, map and compass reading, and of course, SAFTEY. You’ll spend the first three days preparing for your experience, then head to Angel Island, where you’ll backpack from the mountains to the bay!
On The Road Again…Mt. Rushmore or Bust
Open to girls entering grades 7 – graduating seniors July 11 – 22 Mid Western USA $650 per girl
Join On the Road Again as we explore some of the natural wonders of the West. Go white water rafting, explore lava tubes, see Old Faithful, smell bubbling mud pots, and visit Mt. Rushmore! This and many more adventures will be yours as we travel to 5 National Parks and Monuments on our adventure! A physical examination within two years of the final day of the trip is required.
Gold Rush
Open to girls entering grades 1 – 6 July 16 – 20 Program Center, Fairfield $75 per girl
Calling all 49ers, want to learn basic camping skills? Join us at this camp where we will live as the 49ers did during the gold rush. We will use a compass, tie knots, build fires, use a camp stove and build a box oven just to name a few. There will be a sleepover for Junior Girl Scouts on Friday night!
USA Tennis Camp
Open to girls entering grades 3 – 12 July 24 – 27 Green Valley Country Club, Fairfield $180 per girl
This week long camp has it all, tennis instruction and recreational swimming in a country club setting! You will enjoy beginner or intermediate tennis instruction in the morning and enjoy frolicking in the pool in the afternoon. Bring your racquet if you have one, otherwise we’ll let you borrow one of ours. No swimming instruction is provided. A swim test will be given on the first day of camp.
Smooth Sailing
Open to girls entering grades 5 – 8 July 30 – Aug 3 Vallejo Yacht Club, Vallejo $130 per girl
Back by popular demand! In collaboration with the California Maritime Academy, GSCNS will again present a sailing camp. Come join us at this 5-day boating camp and learn the ins and outs of Sailing smart from U.S. Sailing instructors from the California Maritime Academy. Junior Girl Scouts will earn the Small Craft and Water Fun badges and Cadette Girl Scouts will earn the Smooth Sailing I.P. while learning safe boating and water safety. Then register for Anchors Away to gain more advanced sailing skills. REGISTERING GIRLS MUST BE ABLE TO SWIM 50 YRDS AND TREAD WATER FOR 2 MINUTES. A swim test will be given on the first day of camp.
Alcatraz Adventure
Open to girls entering grades 7 – 12 Aug 4 – 5 Alcatraz Island $110 per girl
The Alcatraz Work Service Project/Overnight Program is truly a unique experience. Join us as we travel by ferry to Alcatraz to perform a 1-2 hour work project, receive a private guided tour by a Park Ranger, enjoy a BBQ dinner on the island and retire to our individual cells in the D-Block where we’ll remain until pardoned the next morning. Don’t miss out on this once in a lifetime memorable trip to The Rock!
Anchors Away
Open to girls entering grades 5 – 12 Aug 6 – 10 Vallejo Yacht Club, Vallejo $130 per girl
Girls, who’ve already experienced the benefits of Smooth Sailing or have had some boating experience, will have the opportunity to learn more advanced sailing techniques at this camp. You will enjoy fun-filled days of sailing and sailor games. Improve your sailing skills, learn new knots, discover the marine environment and delight in fun sailing races. REGISTERING GIRLS MUST BE ABLE TO SWIM 50 YRDS AND TREAD WATER FOR 2 MINUTES. A swim test will be given on the first day of camp.

Share the experience
As a volunteer camp staff member, you would attend training and volunteer at a complete camp session. In return, you’ll receive a camp staff credit voucher, equal to the cost of the camp for your daughter. Offer excludes On the Road Again travel camp. Volunteer opportunities may be limited at some camps.
